You always want to include your overhead cost into your estimates. How do you determine what your overhead is.

Interesting question. I have been working on determining the same thing. I would say, overhead is any indirect costs not directly chargable to a specific job like direct costs. In my case, I took all of my indirect costs per month, summed them, and divided them by my projected/targeted month gross sales. This than gives you a percentage. The more gross sales, the lower the overhead pecentage given indirect costs remain constant. What % overhead are you running?
