Hi Bill,

I have finally gathered up all the feature request that we have spoken about thru emails, along with a few new ones.
I am posting them here, until you create a Feature Request thread area, for others to see and comment on.

To other readers, if you like the posted FR, please acknowledge, or add others. If you see a better way to accomplish than what I have posted, please add to it.

Thanks.....Dave

- Materials Price Update

     - Have tab for 'Material Update' in each bid ( perhaps between 'Light Fixtures' and 'Bid Price' Tabs )- since materials for each bid can be exported and printed to send to suppliers for quotes - have this tab list all items for the bid and allow price updates directly within the bid for all vendors. This would help expedite price updates overall in general since prices affect only that bid at that time and as time goes on and different bid items updated, it will eventually update odd items a bit at a time.

     - Reason for this option is that some vendors cannot or will not provide a delimited file, or are not part of Net Pricer, etc.....

This is not feasible due to the fact that TurboBid has already been programmed to allow material price updates in the form of a tab delimited .txt file. Trade Service, EPIC, Net Pricer, Graybar, Crescent, etc. already provide price files for material price updates. The date of last price update is included for each item in TurboBid's database.

If you don't use price update files, simply print out the material report for your project and send it to your supply house. If a price is no longer valid, have them make a notation. You can then open TurboBid's item database, click on search, enter the item number and the item's maintenance screen will appear. Enter the revised price.

Reports
Bid Price - have authorization signature lines on report like Formal Proposal Report

The formal proposal can include a proposal acceptance where you and your customer will sign. It states that all initialed pages shall be included in the contract. Each report includes initial lines in the bottom right hand corner.
